I'm 62, a Democrat, a 10-year U.S. Army Veteran, a husband, father, grandfather & dog dad. I work full-time, I'm not a millionaire & I don't own a business to write laws I can profit from. I own guns, go to church & drive a 10-year-old truck because its paid off & runs well. I watch baseball. I almost always wear jeans and T-shirts. I shop at Walmart. I’m about the furthest thing from an elitist there is.

I serve my country, not a president. I follow laws, not lawmakers.

I don't tolerate discrimination against anyone's race, sexual orientation, religion or culture. I stand with all Georgians as equals.

I earned my Bachelor's in Journalism from Ottawa University in Arizona & my Master's in Communication from the University of the Incarnate Word in Texas. But the real education came from 45 years as an investigative journalist &columnist, exposing corruption & bad government from zoning boards, to mayors, to members of Congress.
