I'm 62, a conservative Democrat, and U.S. Army veteran, with 45 years of political journalism and investigative reporting experience at all levels of government - from zoning boards to presidential candidates.
I believe the oaths to support and defend the Constitutions of the United States and Georgia are sacred, and that the government we fund should serve us and keep all of us healthy, comfortable and thriving.
I serve my country, not a president. I follow laws, not lawmakers. I speak truth, not rhetoric. I'm far from being a millionaire and I don't own a business that I can write laws to profit from. I'm a truck-driving, gun-owning, church-going husband, father and grandfather, and dog dad.

I'm not patterned or patterning after ANYONE, and certainly no one at the national level. My campaign and my ideas are strictly focused on Georgia's state-level issues and the 51st District, in particular.
You will never see me parroting partisan bumper sticker slogans as policy. I'm not a follower, and I loathe hypocrisy and empty posturing.
I have a standing challenge to voters: Talk with me for five minutes about any subject you choose, and I'll show you I'm no cartoon stereotype. The only limit on subject matter is that it must be a local, county or Georgia state issue. I won't argue or quibble over national trigger issues, identity politics, or buzzwords.
I'm going to serve Georgia and all residents of District 51 for their benefit, and nobody else's.
